BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League 2026/27 Season Set to Kick Off

HONG KONG – August 19, 2026 – The Football Association of Hong Kong, China (HKFA) officially announced the start of the 2026/27 BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League at a season-opening press conference held today. The new campaign will commence on the evening of August 21 at Mong Kok Stadium, with a highly anticipated opening match between Eastern and Supreme Shatin.

The league continues its long-standing partnership with title sponsor BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited (BOC Life), reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing local football development. BOC Life’s more than a decade of sponsorship has helped establish the Hong Kong Premier League as a robust and professional platform that energizes players, fans, and the wider community.

This season, the league enjoys strong backing from multiple partners. Kelme Hong Kong will continue to supply venue uniforms and official match balls, while Adidas provides professional attire for the referee team. In a major boost for accessibility, on.cc has been awarded exclusive broadcasting rights for the 12th consecutive season, allowing fans to watch matches live via the on.cc mobile app and website. Additionally, on.cc has been authorized by the HKFA to collaborate with television broadcasters to deliver live coverage on free-to-air channels.

The 2026/27 season will feature eleven competing teams. The HKFA has pledged to further strengthen match planning, youth development, and venue infrastructure to raise the competitive standard and entertainment value of the league while ensuring fairness and integrity throughout the competition.
